Popular Post sho671
This is one of the oldest cigars that I've ever smoked. I picked it up as part of a sampler about a month ago too. The initial puffs were of wet grass with a wasabi sting on the retrohale. It was pretty off putting and I was a little concerned that the rest of the smoke was going to be horrible. Luckily, the wet grass transitioned to a woody note in the second third that no longer burned my nose. The last third brought forward a floral note with a mildly creamy retrohale. I have another one of these in the humidor and I'm hoping it is more like the latter half of the one I smoked. 2-3/5

El Presidente
When they were good they were very good. Unfortunately I have to say that I have smoked more average ones than good ones. Juan Lopez One is a serious cut above.
