Popular Post El Presidente Posted July 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 7, 2022 RIP James. One of my favourite actors. Favourite Caan movie? So many great works. This wasn't one of them but still my favourite 8
KCCubano Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Great actor. Lots of good movies but being a sports junky I would say for me Brians Song 1
Chibearsv Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 What a great actor. My favorite Caan movie besides Godfather of course is Thief. 2

MoeFOH Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Rollerball (well, for the Rollerball scenes only, the rest of the movie is gash) and Godfather, of course. RIP Sonny.
Popular Post MrBirdman Posted July 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 7, 2022 RIP Kinda have to phrase this as "favorite movie besides the Godfather" (as you would for anyone in it, even Pacino I suspect). For me personally, it's Misery - not that it's an especially "great" movie, but I read a lot of Stephen King growing up. For an author whose work has been turned into some - ahem - questionable films, Misery was one that definitely hit the mark (and stayed much closer to the source material than The Shining). He and Bates had good chemistry (if you can call it that). 9

Ford2112 Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Sonny in the Godfather. Love it when he beats Carlo with a garbage can lid lol 2
kmax Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 I never thought you were a bad consiglieri Tom. I thought Santino was a bad Don my he Rest In Peace. 2
cigcars Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 *He did such a memorable job in "Godfather" as hot headed Sony Corleone he was given an award from the Italian community - he was named "Italian of the Year"! And Caan had to respond that he wasn't Italian, he was Jewish. But I believe they gave him the award anyway!
HerrHonaker Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 His contributions to the marquee movie titles are indisputable, but if you really want a treat, check out his performance in Wes Anderson’s first film, the hilarious indie jewel Bottle Rocket. It also stars the not-yet famous Wilson brothers (Owen and Luke) as hapless, aspiring criminals who look to Caan’s character as a role model. 1

gormag38 Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 A great MSU Spartan. RIP 1. The Godfather 2. Elf Two COMPLETELY different types of movies that he was great in. 1
MPhillips Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 I’d also say Godfather and Elf. reminds me to rewatch Godfather 1
rascalmonkey Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 https://www.texasmonthly.com/arts-entertainment/james-caan-bottle-rocket-mr-henry-wes-anderson/ bottle rocket!
La_Tigre Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Godfather really has to be excluded from any of these types of discussions. Will go with Thief May he Rest In Peace and the family have peace as well. 1
zappaFREAK Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Great films: The Killer Elite Rollerball Godfather Elf He made a lot of stinkers too. Fantastic in the series Vegas. will miss him.
HawkI84 Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 The Godfather by far for me. But, for a mindless 90's action movie, I always thought Eraser was fun. 1

Let's face it Ken, you were never a kid. You were born a grumpy old man
