I have a buddy who has one of the copper models. He likes it a lot. I’m still in the cheap hip flask mode though as I don’t want to sweat it when they are lost or confiscated. 
flasks just aren’t that expensive IMHO. I mean you can get a glass or plastic flask if you buy the booze, right?  It’s not like you are buying the IP with a flask.

I have a glass flask with a rubber cover.  I prefer the non-reactive material if it's gonna be in the flask for any period of time over a few hours.   Even comes with a top you can swap out that is 100% non metallic so the whole thing can make it through a metal detector.

I have enough trouble with losing things when I'm sober - and if I'm drinking, anything unattached is fair game for misplacement. I guess I could use it for apple juice.

These days I only use my nice flask for rare events where I would like to have a drink but know the cash bar will have a miserable selection. They used to be de-rigeur for the occasional trip to a casino, but the few I like locally have added metal detectors.

Never liked metal flasks. They seem to get funky after a while. Those are beautiful though

I’ve got an old stainless steel one from Brooks Brothers that’s done well over the years, but I was pretty meticulous about draining and cleaning it between uses. 
 

I really like these leather-covered glass versions from Clayton & Crume.

Those are very nice! A little spendy though. Add a couple more dollars and i can buy a very nice bottle of booze. Thanks for sharing.
