I bought a bunch of these when they first came out--so far the couple I tried are not ready for prime time--even though some reviewers have had good luck with them.

 I think they will be amazing a few years down the road--but for now I have plenty of favorites that are smoking beautifully so I can be patient.

That said--you should try one and see what you think--worst case it will give you a benchmark to compare to in later years.

I find them quite smokeable fresh. I've given most I've smoked a solid 92 points. Not particularly youthful but you can tell that some time might bring out more.

I think they aren't ready for primetime yet. At least my October 2021 one's aren't yet. It was a good cigar, but feel like it showed youth past the halfway point.

Had my last one in November from a 21 NOV box. Great out of the gate, mild creamy caramel notes true to PL.  For me they’re pretty good but I can see them getting better with more time down to let the sweeter notes develop more.

Fired one up I found it rather muted. These definitely need time down. It has the DNA to become something PL ish for sure. The burn was never quite right and I had to touch up numerous times and a few relights in the final third.

I give it 87 points due to the construction (felt a but overfilled tbh).'22 box I will edit this to include the code later.

I won't be touching another one of these for at least a year.
