El Presidente Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 .....Jesus wept ALEC BRADLEY’S PROJECT 40 LINES ADDING 7 X 70 https://halfwheel.com/alec-bradleys-project-40-lines-adding-7-x-70/409658/ For the record, this is not possible. You can utilise the same tobacco but you can't have a 6X52 6x60 amd 7X70 using the "same blends" The two cigars, which will be referred to as the 07.70, use the same blends as the rest of the Project 40 line, meaning a Nicaraguan wrapper over a Brazilian habano binder and Nicaraguan filler for the Project 40 Natural, while the Project 40 Maduro uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Brazilian habano binder and Nicaraguan filler. 3
Popular Post Chas.Alpha Posted June 14, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 14, 2022 A 50 ring gauge should be the largest allowed by law. Even then, should be generally shunned... 5
Popular Post SCgarman Posted June 14, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 14, 2022 Nope, not for me. I have seen guys smoking these things and they look like #$%&@! 1 4
Lfhard Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 I would not like something that big hanging out of my mouth. If I have to put my whole mouth around it that is a big no thank you. 2
riderpride Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 So who's going to be the first to offer the cross cigar - Pineapple Express style? Maybe a market of one for this thing - and she lives in Havana. Cheers 1
NSXCIGAR Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Kind of makes me wonder what the actual upper limit of RG is. 80? 90?

No way I could watch a guy try to smoke that. My jokes would be legendary. At their expense of course. 🤣 2 1 3

If I have to put my whole mouth around it that is a big no thank you. The max ring gauge I can comfortably smoke is 52, maybe 54. On rare occasions I'll go bigger than that. But for that reason and for a lot of other reasons, I prefer 50 and under. 2
Bunner Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 😬yiiiiiikes.... go big or go home. as the saying goes.

gustavehenne Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 My mate recently gave me three cigars - all Asylum 13, a 6 x 60, 7 x 70 and an 8 x 80. I'll throw up a picture when I can find it. For someone that thinks a large RG is anything over 44 these look so ridiculous in comparison. The next biggest I have in the humidor is the Topes followed by the Siglo VI. As @Nevrknow mentioned earlier, I'm not sure I would feel comfortable smoking this around other people for fear of the jokes that would ensue. But on a serious note, I just don't find them comfortable - they don't fit well in the mouth and I don't have a size complex. Give me a Laguito No. 1 or Laguito No. 2 any day. 2
Popular Post LordAnubis Posted June 15, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 15, 2022 Not the first. And several years too late. The Don 7x70 14 Oct 2015. Gifted by that mofo @ChanceSchmerr I don’t talk to him anymore. 3 13

Connoisseur Kim Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 This is the cigar which I call a monstrous donkey dick rocket due to its humongous 70 RG. I prefer long and skinny CCs like Monte 1 over large RG cigars like this since these humongous cigars are not only uncomfortable to puff but also usually have a bland and unimpressive flavour profile. 3

We were sure it would be egregiously bad, and instead it was actually a tasty cigar, despite the ridiculous girth. You did seem to enjoy the experience more than I did, @LordAnubis. No, I didn't stock up. But I can't speak for Mus.....
LordAnubis Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 FAKE NEWS!!!! all lies !! 🤣 From memory yeah it wasnt terrible. I recall it smoked faster than we thought too, think it took less than 2 hours to get through. 1
