Assuming Price adjustments have come into play, what is the Retail B&M Box Price for these three cigars?

  • Cohiba Robusto
  • Montecristo Number 2
  • Partagas Serie D Number 4

What are (or would you be) paying in your domestic market if you walked through the door?

American here, so I can't do the B&M thing for these. That said, what I've seen on other sites I used to buy from is somewhere around:

  • ~$1600+ for CoRo 25's
  • ~$600+ for Monte 2 25's (I've seen upwards of $800)
  • ~$500+ for PSD4 25's

Love all of these, but outside the CoRo these aren't $20+ sticks IMO. Gonna be buying a lot more Fuente Don Carlos and custom rolls once I burn through my doomsday stash enough that I have more space. Also, the increases I've seen on the Monte 2 and PSD4 (not to mention BBF, yikes) seem to be far and above what non-Cohiba/Trinidad increases were purported to be.

UK, one of the cheaper shops.

CoRo - £1220 / $1487 although most are £1500+ and all out of stock so could adjust higher yet.
Monte 2 - £738 / $900
D4 - £607 / $740

The well known London shops are much pricier than this as well.

NL here:

CoRo USD 650

MC2 USD 450

PSD4 USD 350

New pricing hasn't come in effect yet though and nothing of the above is available. Guess those two are related 🤔

The prices I posted are full Canada retail. Which used to be just under 3x international duty free prices.

They are now less than 2X.

Canada federal tax only price (no provincial tax, this used to be just under 2x international duty free price) is somewhere between $568 USD (old price) and $729.79 USD (presumably new price).

At the local Habanos Specialist retailer (according to one of my Korean FOH disciples):

  • Box of CORO: ₩2,100,000 (approx $1630)
  • Box of 25ct D4 (some CC Robustos including JL2 and Epi 2 have the same price in my country): ₩1,050,000 (approx $813)
  • Box of 25ct M2: approx at least ₩1,400,000s (approx $1083)

Although one of my Korean FOH mates couldn't take a picture of its whole list of new CC prices (the owner got pissed when he tried to gather all new Korean CC prices info), I can tell the price of CCs in Korea is not only now even more expensive than before but also going to be increased even further soon) 😢.

Yet not changed here in Japan. Seems cheaper for recent currency drops.

Coro         855.25USD

Monte #2  604.42USD

D4            483.54USD

We are still on old prices (I was told the new ones come in to place august or September) so local store prices are as follows:

Coro = ~900 usd

Mc2 = ~600 usd

Psd4 = ~420 usd

New prices now official in Spain. I've been here 2 days and have visited 4 cigar shops in Logroño and Teruel. No Cohiba (other than clubs and smaller) and no Trinidad.

Monte No. 2 : €19.60, I'm seeing boxes of these around with a bit of looking.

Serie D No.4: €16.10. Some 10 counts around and lots of 3-packs of tubes at a slightly higher price.

More on the shelves here than last October, but not much more.

If this is among the top markets in the world, that is piss poor.  Where is all the stock?

Remember the old idea that communism would achieve equality by making everyone poor.

Well the end goal here is to make everyone pay HK/UK/Canada prices or as close to it as the market will bear.

To be fair Habanos doesn't really care about the price differences they just see that as leaving money on the table (which it definitely is in many cases).

Your plan almost literally matches mine right down to the Don Carlos and customs!

New prices in Germany

1.700 EUR CORO (615 EUR old)

462.50 EUR Monte 2 (410 EUR old)

370 EUR D4 (300 EUR old)

This is where I would expect it to settle into/thereabouts. CORO down a tad at $1400 ish (USD) as supply comes on line (if and when).

If my sources in Cuba are right, they will be roughly 15% below those prices.

Local B&M in Perth, lists them at 141 aud per Coro... so accounting for 10% off more than 10 singles, a box works out to near on 3200 aud... which is 2200 USD... i sure hope this is post price increase 😂

Habanos are out of touch... they should have set pricing to Perth retail not any of this low ball HK bargain pricing.

Take off $350 USD in duties

Take off $220 USD in GST

You are at $1630 USD and damn close to the target price. That is frighteningly efficient :cofcig:

New prices (in EUR)  for France are just out. Starts July 1st.

Cohiba 1625 (was 722)

Monte 2 577 (was 512)

D4 462 (was 400).

Still an expensive Eu country for cigars
