Fingers crossed they lift bringing cigars back into the states soon also! Although with the rule that the prices won't be different for Cohibas or Trinidads but maybe they will have some stock. Are the other brands price locked also or will the Island still be cheaper to buy them if they have any stock? 

It's "fun" looking at the 2019/2020 price list where a box of ten BHK 52's is 221 CUK and a Trinidad Colonials single is 6.60 haha.

I'd be perfectly happy if they didn't. Most of the cigars and pretty much all the rum that would be brought back are purchased directly from the government. Which we don't want. 

There are some that source most of their cigars through other channels, but not enough for this to make sense. 

Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE it if they did free things up again, but only selfishly. I don't think it's the right move from a broader perspective.

That's fair. I suppose my reasons are selfish as well.
