Partagas Short TUA 19 (TGORW)

Generally make the switch to Robustos this time of year as the weather gets nicer. However with the way the market is I will be relying more and more on the old faithful's. The Partagas short is that cigar for me. 

This one sports a lighter colored wrapper and a gorgeous build. Starts out with a fairly light sweet grassy hay flavor. Very barnyard like with a sligt funky twang. Body is light medium at this point. 

Halfway and the grass makes the transition to the more classic Partagas flavor of woodiness along with a spiced espresso flavor. The later is on the light side, certainly for a short. I imagine this is due to the lighter wrapper. Medium body. 

A great cigar and a bit lighter than the traditional short but still a great hour smoke.

Those 19 Shorts are fantastic. Mine are starting to provide me with a stone fruit note which is delicious.
