That was my thought as well! And a robe handy so you don’t greet the fire brigade starkers again! Had I known you were going to No.6 Cavendish, I would have told Ajay you’d be picking up my tab. I saw those Kon Tiki and was sorely tempted. Had a Monroe Supremos instead and a couple Negronis and blackout. If you are in the neighborhood, there is a nice Italian restaurant within sight of Ajay’s called 2 Venetti. Address is 10 Wigmore. Very tasty. 1

Popular Post El Presidente
I caught up wih Justin Seldis yesterday for a cigar at The Waterway (great spot for a cigar) before walking 100m to The Summerhouse for an excellent seafood lunch of oysters and a whole grilled sole finished off with an excellent English cheese platter. Post lunch we were joined by our sons (Ben came straight in from the airport) and we wandered around the corner to the Warwick Castle pub for a cigar and a few drinks. Very fine afternoon indeed Still haven't found any RTW reading glasses. I thought I had orderd something completely different for lunch.....this needs to stop London has the best Uber cars I have seen. Picked up yesterday in an Audi 6 Quatro on the way to lunch and a Range Rover home. Need to find a different route to the gym this morning. It is a 45 minute walk. Let's just say Google maps can lead you into some very interesting places that you may not want to venture 16

It has been superb! Heading off to the Chelsea Arts Club today for a long lunch with John De Costa. It is about an hour walk from Soho but as long as the rain holds off, I would love the walk.
Popular Post ha_banos
Can't offer you fancy pants locations like that! How about the local deli or cafe? 😁
CaptainQuintero
Have a look at local large-ish supermarkets Rob, most should have a stand with reading glasses and sunnies on them. Any pound shop will normally have some too. Won't be as interesting visiting them as what you've been up to so far but hopefully you'll be able to see a bit more after! Popular Post El Presidente
Found some glasses at Izipizy on Carnaby Street. Bought 2 pairs just in case 😅 Touch dusty yesterday morning so decided to clear my head and walk from Soho to the Chelsea Arts Club where I was to meet jeweller to the stars John De Cossta for a long lunch. The walk was an hour. I swear it was closer I love the Chelsea Arts Club. Cigar friendly, cheap drinks (for London) and good meals. It has a funky vibe and the members have that rascal glint in their eyes. JDC was in fine form and a long lunch it was as two bottles of red was accompanied by way too many ABF (absolutely bloody final) double HC rums and negronis. I was in a chipper mood and decided to walk back to Soho around 7pm I arrived home 9pm having no idea why the same route took an extra hour and was apparently 1 km longer. 6

Popular Post El Presidente
Good morning from Stuart Fox's place in Jersey. To be fair, being a mate of Stu should come with a warning. Hangover from hell. So this is how cigar barrons live 😁
Popular Post El Presidente
Jersey is absolutely breathtaking. I arrived to a long lunch in town with Stu and some friends. Great people. Cigars and drinks on the terrace before Rob flew in at six. Then the party started The wines back at Stu's were superb. Cigars, wine and French cheese board. We wrapped it up about 3am.🙄 You could get use to this bedroom view I am in perfect condition for board meetings today....... 24

Ive heard they are notoriously grumpy. But it might be interesting for a cigar baron to see how the pipe tobacco barons roll. From what ive heard they make some of the highest respected as sought after pipe tobaccos in the world 13 hours ago, El Presidente said: The wines back at Stu's were superb.

Popular Post El Presidente
Well London retail is certainly resilient! Even with the new prices, trade was brisk in the four stores visited. loved the new Havana Cigar Exchange at 1a St James. Stunning store. I Will do a write up on it over the weekend. It was a day of meetings....lunch in St James Park and then meetings again until a cigar at JJFox and dinner at my favourite Indian restaurant, Mary Chutney.....followed by drinks at 67 Pall Mall. Home early at 1am. somehow Andy Ryan has convinced us to go to a unique breakfast place this morning.......I don't eat breakfast but can use about 3 coffees right now! Superb dinner. Mixed starters. The lamb Samosa below were excellent. My lamb tandoori was sensational.
tjkoala
@El Presidente Can I ask what your travel setup looks like? What cigars do you typically pack and what do you use for a travel humidor? Or is all this not needed since you're probably offered a good selection by JJ Fox

One 25 count otterbox and a heap of ziplock bags with Boveda. Mostly Nudie blends for Rob and team to try. I will be in Miami next week and will be resupplied. On the Cuban side have some aged VRDA, Boli Gold Medals, D4, CORO, RIo Seco, Punch Punch, JLS1.
