mprach024 Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 I have many, but it’s gotta be pizza. NY style with a thin chewy crust, high quality cheese and greasy pepperoni. 4
Popular Post Edicion Posted April 19, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2022 Neapolitan style pizza for me, the simpler the better. 7
Popular Post Fuzz Posted April 19, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2022 If you never diet, then there is no such thing as "vice food". 2 1 2
Popular Post 99call Posted April 19, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2022 Kobeda Kebab specifically from 'Rushholme Chippy' in Manchester. The set up: - Beautiful naan cooked in the same tandoor as various meats, perfumed with woodsmoke and sizzling lamb - The Kobeda kebab itself is a mix of lamb and beef, saffron, minced onion, salt - Fresh crunchy salad with green picked chillies, covered in sumac - Standard yogurt sauce (i.e mint, garlic, yogurt, lemon, salt) - Their chilli sauce. (pink in colour) Never had anything like this anywhere else, is wonderfully hot, (not tomato based) woody, aromatic. It's a city wide obsession, 100's have tried to ask the owner, or work it out in their own kitchens. All washed down with a Rubicon Mango 7

Yes! and yes! good man 24 minutes ago, loose_axle said: karaage chicken If you ever find yourself in Kushiro, Hokkaido. check out the "Zangi" chicken in 'Torimatsu'. It's basically the same as Karaage but with the extra dimension of a bit of heat/spice. You've got to love the Japanese, they wrap an order of fried chicken, better than I can wrap my missus Birthday presents. No detail left unrefined!!!. 6 1 1

Cayman17 Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Used to be pho with beef (pre-children), now it’s pizza delivered from “Mmm mmm pizza” down the road (with children).
joeypots Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 I'm a sucker for real fried clams. The kind that were invented in Ipswich Ma. Whole belly, not too big, and cooked just right. Enough to be crispy but not so much that the clams are over cooked. 4
Popular Post Fuzz Posted April 19, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2022 If you really want a vice meal, I give you... The Halal Snack Pack (HSP) Hot chips covered in a pile of kebab meat (beef, lamb, chicken, or go for a mix), melted cheese, and finished off with sauce (go for the holy trinity of garlic, barbecue and chili sauce). They come serving sizes; small (don't order this, you'll get weird looks), medium, large (pictured above) and family size (take the large container and pile on the food on both sides, then use another container to cover). 8 3

BrightonCorgi Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Chicken Fried Steak for me. Too bad no one makes it or takes it seriously in the North East. 😢 3

Bords Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 Cheesesteak wit, extra whizz, and no, neither Pats nor Ginos is worth it. I'd go with Pats if forced though; they have better meat. Jim’s all day. Best sandwich in Philly area is Eve’s lunch in Norristown of all places.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

There's a sustainable oyster bed also. No oyster bed, but we do grow our own blackberries. Grocery store prices are just outrageous, however harvesting them is tedious, so .... Typically I get way too much to use before they go bad, so I am forced to make blackberry wine with the leftovers. What a travesty. Funny thing about Escargot though, it is not really that expensive to make at home so long as you are fine with using canned snails. Garden snails are free, but require purging for a few days, and if you have kids, get them to find them. What kid does not want to play in the dirt looking for snails, plus, no park ranger is going to arrest your kid for "playing with snails." That would just be government over reach. But speaking of earthly pleasures, you should try my thanksgiving day turkey. I render fat out of scrap pieces of foie gras, mix it with clarified butter plus all of the herbs, and pipe it in under the skin once it stiffens back up. Throw in my gravy, that takes two days to make, and it is award winning. 2

Sir Diggamus Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 My vice food is a toffee. I found a place in California that does a "butter crunch" that is like toffee without the chocolate coating and it is fantastic. When I am feeling like breaking out of a diet routine this is the first thing I run for. 4
