Popular Post Lfhard Posted April 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 8, 2022 Just got some new things for my everyday carry. Love this new knife it’s solid brass very smooth opening and closing. Lighters are brass and engraved. What’s in your everyday carry or something you really like about your carry? 11

Popular Post Nevrknow Posted April 9, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 9, 2022 Benchmade Griptillian in 154CM is today’s. But it can vary. A tad harder to sharpen but really keeps an edge. Slides thru cigar caps like hot butter. 😀 8
Popular Post TBird55 Posted April 9, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 9, 2022 Have carried a pocket knife since i was a kid. My grandfather gave me my first one, when i was 5 or 6. 10
Popular Post Huckleberry Posted April 10, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 10, 2022 Cheers for Skoal brothers My everyday carry looks a lot different than the ones pictured 5 3
99call Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Here in the UK, an "everyday carry" is Wallet-Keys-Phone. If I didn't have a van full or tools always with me, I would be much more likely to opt for a plier based multitool. Never really understood the need to carry something thats just a knife. 3
Popular Post tigger Posted April 10, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 10, 2022 In these terms, for me it's either a Spyderco Delica or a Kershaw Leek, both well worn but functional, and a cheap but reliable torch lighter. OP, if I had anything as nice as yours, I'd somehow end up ruining them within a day or two...it's a recurring theme in my life. 😂 Side note: I guess it's a function of my age and background, but "everyday carry," means something different to me than the knife and source of fire I keep in my pocket...I've yet to adjust to what it has come to mean. 5
Popular Post joeypots Posted April 10, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 10, 2022 Cheap and sharp. This thing doesn't hold an edge for long but it sharpens easily. This is my current go to for cutting the cap off of cigars. Other than that It opens boxes and mail. 5

Yea that’s my concern is some how ruining it or losing it but if it happens it happens I guess. Yea I want an everyday carry like the one your referring to. Wife just doesn’t approve of that everyday carry yet. Figured she puts up with my cigars so win some, lose some.

The title of the post had me thinking of another piece of my EDC that’s slightly bigger than a knife. 👍🏻 5 hours ago, joeypots said: Cheap and sharp. If it’s blue 2 steel it can get very sharp but you’re correct, those steels aren’t very conducive to rough cut tasks. 2
Popular Post NicPac Posted April 10, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 10, 2022 Here’s what I carry daily. I had it forged recently. The guard and cap is from a reclaimed 1800’s prison bar. 11
Webbo Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Outside of your own property get stopped in the UK carrying any of these and you are in deep shit indeed.

Really?!? That’s crazy. I know we have laws here in the US on how large the blade can be to carry with you, but as long as the blade length is within the law you can’t get in trouble here. 1
Popular Post Lomey Posted April 10, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 10, 2022 My boss got me this for Christmas. Nice and light. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk 6

You get caught with one of these you're in big doo-doo, unless it is strictly for your work, sport or recreation eg fishing (self-defence doesn't count). Even carrying a box cutter outside of your work can get you in trouble if you get stopped by the cops.
Popular Post El Presidente Posted April 11, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 11, 2022 I am more than happy with pocket knives being discussed. I love me some whittlin 6
Bijan Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 I usually carry a Swiss Army knife. But I lost the last two at the airport. Since I don't fly as much and tend to drive to the airport nowadays when I do, I'll probably get another one. 1

Even carrying a box cutter outside of your work can get you in trouble if you get stopped by the cops. With all the venomous snakes and spiders crawling into bed with you guys down there you need a good ole fashioned flame thrower of some kind. For one, with all sincerity my heart goes out those terribly effected by the flooding. In 2008 our downtown flooded and the water was up the second floors in the houses within the 100 and 500 hundred year flood plain. It took a long time for the city to recover from that event. A year ago we were hit with a derecho that brought sustained winds that blew at 145 mph for 65 minutes and we lost something like 60 percent of our overhead canopy. All that and I live in Iowa, about as geographically far as you can be from an ocean in the US of A. Anyway, back to the snakes and spiders, y'all seriously need some flame throwers you can carry around and I am not talking about your cigar lighters You ought to be able to get some sort of hazard laws past for you to be able to protect yourselves from the creepy crawlies that I only see in my dreams.
Fuzz Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 Dangerous idea there. The flamethrower might just piss them off. Then you're in real trouble.
Popular Post MPhillips Posted April 11, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 11, 2022 I generally carry a benchmade Osborne 940 series and an OTF from benchmade or Microtech I try to keep them sharp enough to cleanly cut a cigar cap 7
