Recently bought a 25 count dress box of HUHC.

Do you store the whole box in your humidor, or remove the sticks from the dress box, throw dress box away, and then store the sticks in the humidor?

Store in the box until down to a quarter left, then remove and place remaining cigars in my singles humidor.

It depends on how important it is to you to identify cigars and still have room. I see this as a practical housekeeping question. If other, you should be more specific.

I may dump cigars like these, sub-PCs into the singles area by the full box. But again, this is housekeeping cigars 101, knowing their ‘code’ identification is meaningless to me, compared to the value of grab and go!

I have an end table style wooden cabinet humidor. I store all cigars in their original boxes in the cabinet. Regardless if they are dress, sliding lid or whatever. I don't like singles left out, so all cigars including mix and matched are all in boxes. But as with everything in this hobby there is no right or wrong answer. Only what works for you!

Keep them as packaged until the finish.  Only change on dress boxes is I put the cedar divider under the bottom of the 2nd row once I get to that row.  Old habit.

It’s all housekeeping for me. If I need room in my “regular rotation Coolidor” I will hunt a few of the boxes w a few sticks left and move to the singles tray. If  I don’t need the room, I leave in the box. Once they hit the singles tray it’s a grab and go situation.
