Again, rumours are that it is still closed.

Yup. It was still closed when I was there a couple weeks ago.

He always spent plenty of time in Mexico, so its no surprise. I agree, I'll miss seeing him there. But I'm happy for him and I wish him the best!

Will there be any reason to visit/vacation in Cuba? There is obviously a mass exodus out of that country!

The good news is customs are more readily available than ever outside of Cuba....the bad news is they’re no longer cheap, but hopefully this means more $$ going into the pockets of the farmers and rollers.

Great guy and always enjoyed visiting him. Awesome customs; I only have a few left. @Ryan  Did his son also go with him?  If not yet, I guess it’s just a matter of time.

In my experience, his Rodolfos were the powerhouses of his repertoir. I remember mentionning it to him and he laughed about it, acknowledging that the blend he had used to put together the Rodolfos back in 2016 might have been a tad bit over the top 😂

Cool dude altogether, wishing him the best and hoping that the brain drain happening in Cuba right know doesn't make the country unrecognizable for the generations to come

All the best to Reynaldo and his family.

Looks like I'll need to keep a closer eye on my Reynaldo and Alex customs!

I don't know about his son. There was a mention on Facebook that family went with him but I don't know which of them.

Might have smoked 15 of these over 4 days down there in 2018. They were SO good fresh. Some of the very best cigars I’ve ever had. Tight, stacked dime ash with a slow burn and just impeccable construction. I kept going back to grab another handful and luckily still have 15 or so left. Also, up the Reds!

I was speaking with Moises yesterday about Reynaldo Robustos. Priced right relative to current HSA Robusto portfolio. Anyone tried these? I have had many customs but never from Reynaldo

It already is unrecognizable.

I was by the store April 8th and it is open again. Managed to pick up a few of his customs (at least was told they were his). The weird part I was told I could not buy any boxes, the store was not selling any even thought the stock level was pretty good.

Glad I got to meet him my last trip.  Still have a small stash left from three years ago. I wish him all the best with his move to Cancun.
