Howard Stern used to mention that restaurant often when I used to listen years back. So it's obviously food on another level. I would likely have to mortgage a kidney to pay the check and the tip! 😂 Yes, Howard was a regular there. The night I proposed, Conan O'Brien was sitting at the next table.

Popular Post BrightonCorgi
Having to cook inside. Getting low on coals and need to stop by the açougue and buy more so it was cast iron time. Rather enjoy cooking on cast iron. Necessitates washing the hood vents in the dishwasher.

Popular Post Boxer31
My cioppino for the holidays. It was a struggle to get enough energy to clean all the shellfish since we got in around 7am from New Year’s Eve party. So already I was a couple hours behind schedule and dragging. Cleaning the lobsters, king crab legs, clams, mussels and the shells on the shrimp to make my fish stock. I was ready for nap but had to power on to start the rest. Added cod, scallops and uncooked shrimp to the main pot letting that cook. Finally got to eat around 7:30.
Kitchen
Well I haven't had it yet, but I just finished roasting about 15 pounds of beef and veal bones, sautéed the mirepoix in the left over marrow, added in the herbs and now starting the long haul 30 hour simmer. Saturday night here now, so the Demi Glace should be finished Monday morning. Now, what to cook Monday night?

Popular Post BrightonCorgi
A Portuguese restaurant that is a little bit of a drive (E. Providence, RI) has the most amazing seafood and give away prices. On Friday's they offer a baked octopus pictured below. Their wines prices are best deal going. Had a bottle of Quinta Do Vale Meao Meandro for $28! Costs about that at the liquor store. 11
Popular Post SigmundChurchill
I had to know what the Pac Man dumplings on the Dim Sum menu were. Now I know. In order, lobster, king crab, pork, scallop. And the PAC Man is made of shrimp toast, in guacamole. 10
