My wife asked me what I wanted for birthday and I asked for a brunch. She made all of this by herself. One of the greatest meals I ever had.

I was hit in the head by a flying fish when out on the boat in Cuba. . He didn't make it. 

It looked very similar

Yep, that'd be a flying fish. You can find them in the area around Hong Kong island. It is also quite common in Taiwan.

We have had them fly into the boat a couple of times when moving.  They are best eaten raw with a little chilli,  wasabi and soy...basically a herring with wings in our neck anyway
