Popular Post riderpride Posted February 21, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 21, 2022 Some rough notes from my smoking journal from Feb 10th. Easily the best cigar of the week-long vacation. Connie A Purchased as a single, so code is unknown and assuming it's 2021 production. Paired with a rum punch or two. Nice pale wrapper. Barnyard smell with a firm feel due to LCDH over-humidification. Pushing my rg comfort zone. Pre light draw firm. Sweet Tea with a hint of cedar Initial puff is mag46 all the way. Tea, light grass. No 'roughness' or punch of youth. Smooth 1 Above flavors plus citrus 2 Lemon and grassyness. Light salted peanuts 3 Sweet tea, salted peanuts, very light lemon Total smoking time was ~80 min. Sweet, savory, and perfectly balanced. Usually struggle to pick up so much flavour in a young and over-humudified stick, so it's showing a lot of additionnal promise. Easily a 94 pt cigar and I wish I would have bought a box, but it's on my short list of 'buys'. cheers! 8
