When I first came into  the industry in 1996 Carlos was making big waves in the US market. His cigars were some of the first NC I carried in Oz alongside Puros Indios, Bahia/Borhani.

RIP. Well played Sir.

His Torano Exodus Gold 1959 cigar transformed my view on whether nc cigars could improve with age.  It slowly turned itself into a wonderfully burning chocolate bar after a year or two of months.

I’ve been meaning try a Torano for like four years now, and keep putting it off. Sounds like I’ve been missing out.

I have a lot of very old NCs--and the 1959 is one of those that has aged well over the years--some are a decade old and have not lost a thing....

It's probably been 15 years since my last 59 Exodus Silver.  Loved those cigars back in the day but it looks like they're not made anymore.

Right on man!  In my opinion they actually gained something and it made them beautiful smoking cigars for sure.
