Popular Post Mhansen85 Posted February 4, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 4, 2022 6" x 54 rg - positively square boxpressed Rustic looking stick. Nicaraguan puro, jalapa wrapper, double binder, one of which from omateppe, omateppe filler as well. Tobacco aged 7 years (Gran reserva anyone) Right upon opening there is cardemom, charcoal, dark chocolate, caynenne pepper and scorched earth. It is spicy, but balanced. Woody tones, some dark fruit, plums maybe. Coffee grinds. Very dense, rich, meaty and savoury smoke. Medium body, full flavor. This is a stick that requires some fluids Leather cream and espresso dark roast mixed in the 2/3, with the same dark notes of charcoal, grilled meat, and bitter chocolate Construction is perfect I have smoked two boxes of the robusto, this is my first toro. Been about a year since i last had one. As i mostly smoke cubans these days i was wondering if i would still appreciate it. It is not a cigar i will go to often simply because the flavor profile is not what i crave that often, but it is a very high quality cigar and when the mood hits for NC’s, Placensia or Padron will mostly be my go-to’s It feels more smooth and less mouthdrying than the Robusto. About halfway, there is not much evolution. There is more coffee grinds, earth and coco, as well as the cayenne pepper. Charcoal and scorched earth notes are gone and the mouthfeel is more smooth Towards the 3/3 dusty earth and coco remains. Very smooth. 93 points 6
rguinn Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 Nice review. Love the Alma Fuerte line from Placensia, particularly the salamones. How about a wrist shot of the Omega?

How about a wrist shot of the Omega? I never tried the Fuerte line. I guess i should. I heard they were stronger and fuller, and so i assumed i would prefer the Fuego. Watch is my Seamaster Aqua Terra. 1
