Box itself that looks legit but then the weirdness always comes in--no code, loose warranty sticker.

I feel that if you can apply your own warranty label, it not only allows you to insure proper placement, but will also give the buyer a sense of security knowing that you've done your homework, thereby heighten his confidence that he is buying the genuine article...  🙄

The thing is they don't apply it. It's always loose floating around in the box. Most commonly the warranty but often the Habanos corner sticker as well. 

It remains the strangest phenomenon with fake boxes because of it's ubiquity. It's like all the fakers meet at a fakers convention and decide that's the way to do it. Of course, NOT like it actually is on genuine boxes but the stickers being loose is some kind of focus group-tested method for instilling confidence among the uneducated cigar buyer.
