Ramon Allones Silver Jubilee 2017 APAC regional - seriously good stick and Ken/rob's predictions were true

This one was at my LCDH shop, and i seemed to remember from somewhere that these were supposedly good. Still, with the somewhat hit and (often) miss in the regional programme (IMO), i opted for a single as they were pricey and one never knows.

a week later I light it up and POW, straight full flavor of sweet baking spices. Glorious toffee, cinnamon, black coffee, oak, and sweet on the palate yet very , non-peppery spicy on the retro. I searced the web and yup, revisitet fohTV review from a few years ago. the first delivery is 95-96 point territorie for me, such a wonderful stick. It pays off to watch the foh reviews for some subliminal guidance when picking up sticks blind 🙂

Enjoying it with spartkling water and fruity shade-grown espresso which pairs wonderfully.

I think i have watchesd most if not all reviews from the last couple of years. I find it the best source of information (and entertainment 🙂  ) that often align with my own palate. Keep em coming

 

This shows no signs of slowing down in the 2/3. Flavors are growing more earthy, with some of the toffee subsiding. Think this will evolve for years still but very approahable now. it is slightly less strong in body at the halfway mark, the top complexity is reducing a bit centering around the 95 point mark for me.

 

3/3 delivers still good flavors.it is more smooth and creamy, the complexity is reducing unfortunately, but with habanos one cannot win all the time. Still at 93 points in this last third

 

ALL in all i would say 94.5 points with more potential. that first third was utterly divine..
