Popular Post saltbox Posted December 30, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 30, 2021 First time trying the Choix Supreme, but have enjoyed the Demi Tasse every time I've had one. About two months of rest on this clearance box, almost a year of box age. First third: opens with a lovely cedar, fresh bread, and honey sweetness. A touch of almond joins shortly after the initial puffs. This definitely is much lighter than the Demi Tasse. Towards the end, some light citrus zest notes appear. Middle third: the bread has become a bit more of a cake note, alongside more of the same almond, honey, and citrus. Last third: more of the same, but unfortunately the last third seems to be mostly underfilled and the cigar turns harsh. Overall: a pleasant smoke as it stands now, but I expect with some more rest the flavors will improve in strength, and I'm intrigued by how the flavors will evolve with age. 86/100 with the underfilling in the last third, maybe an 87-88 if it wasn't for that. 12
