Popular Post Kaptain Karl Posted December 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 29, 2021 1/3: Bit of mongrel still on the opening. Then deep cocoa immediately after that morphed into peach and oatmeal. Then some cream and cedar joins the party as well. It is humid today with the brutally cold storm blowing through (39 degrees today and some snow on the top of the hill I live on. There should be an automatic tax and cost of living decrease here in California when it gets this cold 😂) 2/3: Much creamer now with the cream taking center stage and the stone fruit far inn the background. Not sure if it’s the humidity but the complexity and stone fruit and backed off and it’s a light, albeit palette coating creaminess. 3/3: some stone fruit returns with the creaminess. I’ve gotten clear raspberry off of this box before, but this isn’t it. Far less acidity and more light, but it definitely has some of that red fruit/berry aspect to it. Overall, I think the humidity affected the overall flavor performance, but was a solid cigar overall, but not close to the best I’ve had from this cab. 90-92 points. Bonus story: my pops needed a new car and I found a brand new Bronco on the lot in the South Bay…with zero mark up. The Bronco exceeds expectations, just a bad ass vehicle!!! 20

williamthewolf Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Great write up. I'd been wondering about the Epi 1. The Bronco is bad ass! 1
Monterey Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Have you had many aged? Haven't had a lot of these cigars and was wondering how well they age. Nice review. 1

riderpride Posted January 1, 2022 Posted January 1, 2022 Nice write up. I love the Epi 1 and appreciate both the slb and tubo versions. I've found the tubos to be slightly more floral and less fruity though. Let us know how the Bronco works out for your pops. I have a few friends interested. Cheers!
