Popular Post saltbox Posted December 14, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 14, 2021 Haven't had a chance to try the Connie A yet, and with this PSP box up to 7 months of rest now it was ready to try. About a year and a half of box age on this one, nice and firm. First third: opens with a nice blend of leather, cream, shortbread, and almonds. Milk coffee appears shortly after the cigar gets going on. Middle third: more of the same shortbread and cream base, but a nice rich milk coffee has appeared and joined the profile giving it a nice added richness. Last third: milk coffee fades but the almond returns on the finish. Overall: probably my favorite Upmann vitola after the Magnum 50, seems to live up to the reputation of being one of the richer Upmann vitolas. Haven't tried the Sir Winston yet though, and definitely looking forward to that one. 89/100 8
