I was checking my surfgear yesterday in prep for the upcoming beach season.

This one is for all of you who enjoy hitting the waves be it a body/board/ski surf. :ok:

This is one gnarly shorebreak :rotfl:

Wth did I just watch 🤣  I have to admit I was glued, unless the beach dropped a meter those poor guys were getting slammed into the sand.  the music... yeah, but it is stuck in my head and thank you very much for that.

I was mesmerised :D

Nothing like being slammed into the sand by a big shorebreak.........and then being hit again as you semi consciously get to your feet.

The last one was pretty nasty. Growing up in SoCal there were a few shore breaks that were fun. I saw some really nasty shit at the Wedge in Newport Beach. Lot's of dry sand face plants that made that video look tame.

Hang on, Di told me you don't surf. You just like to stand on the beach in your suit, or paddle around in the shallows, trying to look cool and relive your youth. :P

...that's fairly accurate....:D

Fuzz to you ever go to the beach?  I suspect your hair would frizzle up too much.

The beach? Are you kidding? Get sand everywhere? No thanks. And besides, they don't let you smoke on the beach anymore.

Yes! Shore break is the best once you learn to go sideways and just move with the water. None stop barrels all day. I grew up in San Diego going to Windansea Beach. It gets gnarly but the Wedge further north as Avales mentions is insane!
