Popular Post saltbox Posted December 6, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 6, 2021 With the sheer variety in the NC market, most of my purchases are just singles of anything that piques my interest. I've had an Atabey Brujo (same blender) previously, and while it was complex it was also just too mild to really be enjoyable. Byron is allegedly fuller bodied. First third: opens with a nice medium bodied creamy cedar and coffee, with a touch of the mustiness people usually associate with Davidoff. Definitely off to a better start than the Atabey, with much more oomph to the flavor. A light milk chocolate joins the profile after half an inch. Middle third: more of the same creamy cedar and musty mushroom, with the occasional touch of milk chocolate. Last third: no evolution here, more of the same. Overall: not bad, but not particularly exciting and not worth the relatively hefty price tag. To my palate, this was essentially a slightly lighter bodied Davidoff Millenium, though I recall getting more chocolate out of the Millenium which I would prefer to this. 88/100 9
