Popular Post saltbox Posted December 6, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 6, 2021 I realized that side from one Reyes, I haven't actually touched a Trinidad since last year's Christmas sampler so decided to dip into one of the first boxes I picked up to see how they've progressed. This box has been resting for almost 14 months now, with just over 3 years of age, so excited to see how these are doing as they're amongst my longest rested boxes. It's our first Christmas in our own house, so I had the pleasure of putting up Christmas lights around the house. With the gutter clips I found on Amazon, it honestly wasn't that bad! First third: honey cream and almond. Donut batter appears later in. It's a nice fresh fried donut like flavor but denser and richer. Middle third: the creaminess fades a bit. Nice honey sweetness. Reminds me of the burnt almond cake we had for dessert after Thanksgiving dinner. Last third: not much evolution, more of the same here. Overall: nice and tasty, but not much different from what I remember from before. The additional year of rest hasn't done much to change the flavor profile of this cigar (yet). 89/100 4 1
