LordAnubis Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 Im jsut all messed up by the scale... what the hell are those cigars 😂 2
Cigar Surgeon Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 Definitely like the larger size of travel case with the equalizer valve. Much better than trying to pry your humidor open with a butter knife at the Nacional. 4
Chibearsv Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 Yep, I've got the 15 count version of the cigar caddy. Hard to beat 2
RichG Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 Nothing makes the wife happier than if I ask her to stash the 5 count hard case in her purse at a party. Definitely concur that the cheap ones get the job done. 4

nKostyan Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 One way to circumvent the ban is to sell Cuban cigars - as if as a gift with a humidor

Edicion Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 I reused this case as my travel humidor. A zip lock bag and a boveda inside is all it needs. Can carry 4 Torpedos with no issues. Bargain at 14 USD and you get the magnetic lights for your BBQ for free... Yes, I am serious. This is an upgrade for me. You should've seen my previous transparent leather case. 1
Connoisseur Kim Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 I'm using Pelican R60 Case as a travel humidor with two Boveda 65% RH 60g packs. It's large enough to put around 30 cigars (max size is Double Corona) and has a tray to safely keep cigar tools. The only con is I can't carry Giant Corona due to its internal length. I highly recommend this Pelican case for those who look for sturdy and large travel humidor but not too big. 1
Corylax18 Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 I'm still rocking my 7-8 year old 5 count cigar caddy. It took forever to degas the super cheap foam inside, but it's traveled the globe with me since. I have several higher end cases of similar design( for rifles, shotguns, optics) and the pressure relief valve is a must on those larger ones. I'm fine prying the cigar caddy open with a butter knife/key/whatever is handy. Haha 1
Strangg1 Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 I use the monoprice version of the Pelican ruck cases. Ive had excellent experience with monoprice stuff so i gave it a go. Great travel box for the $25 I paid. I also have a smaller Cigar Caddy for holding 5 cigars. Super happy with it as well. 1
joeypots Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 I have one of these in black. 10 cigars, probably 8 if you have some of the new giant RG smokes. About 30$. I mostly use old tubes when I travel. They take up less room in the bag. 3
