Nope!

Being a photographer, I can tell you those are fake ice cubes. If real ice cubes were used, which is what you would use, you would get condensation on the glass and a soggy cigar.  Plus, I would not want to risk getting cigar ash in my drink, which I think would be kind of likely.

Don't forget the dribble down the side of the glass into the holder before resting your cigar in it.

That would be a hard no from me too. I drink my whiskey from a mason jar and rest my cigar on the ashtray.

I’ve received 2 as gifts. Definitely a novelty item, one of them I have to love because it’s inscribed with PAPA from my grand sons.

They don’t work well for holding the cigar but are a fun conversation piece.
