My toque arrived a couple days ago and I'm about to go out and put it to the test for a review. Love the fit and the color, feels quite warm.

Yep, likely from the french word 'tuque', which is typically an elongated beanie with a pom-pom up top.

No no. Beanie, woolly-hat, etc are colloquialisms for toque. 🤣

I don't think anyone has more ownership of cold weather head gear than Canadians.
