Popular Post El Presidente Posted October 27, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 27, 2021 Bond Roberts......Aged, rare and vintage cigars Well, God knows Cohiba now meet the rare category! Commencing immediately, any Cohiba (barring Cohiba Shorts ) can be listed on Bond Roberts regardless of age. Hell it can be a SEP 21 Box Code and they will be welcome. We are only talking Cohiba. Things may change down the track as Cohiba stock comes back on line but as of right now.....go for gold because there are buyers in the UK, Europe, Asia, Oz, Middle East who can't ge their hands on their favourite CORO, VI, Lancero. Partial boxes fine! If you are not a current BR seller but you have been a member of FOH for some time and/or are customer of mine, feel free to put me down as a reference on the BR seller application which can be sourced HERE. If you are a long term customer of one of the retail preferred partners on BR, put them down as a reference on the BR seller application. Seller approvals take a few days but it is not onerous. One box of 2020 SIglo VI = roughly 5 boxes of great D4/RASS/BRC/Connie 1. I will be moving most of my personal Cohiba stock for that reason as I am happy to stock up on the brilliant regular production 21 stock. www.bondroberts.com 6

Popular Post Digi Posted October 27, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 27, 2021 If anyone is thinking about signing up to become a seller and has questions, I'd be happy to answer from (a bit of) expiernece. Signed up to sell back in August and have moved two boxes through the platform. Getting ready for the next batch, mostly high end stuff, to put up between Nov 1st and Xmas. As with any auction site, there's a bit of strategy involved. Here's what I've picked up in my short time on the site: A bit of shameless self promotion does wonders for your bids. I cross-posted auction links to reddit and other forums where allowed. Also blasted it out to cigars peeps I'm social with as well as at my local lounge. Be thoughtful and careful about where to start the price. Vendor accounts like FOH, COH, etc can usually start low and achieve pricing via competitive bidding. If your account doesn't have much feedback, you probably won't be able to count on this (unless you have a spectacular box of cigars). By way of example, I learned my lesson quickly with the first box (linked below) when it wrapped $100 under my desired price. https://www.bondroberts.com/product/view/6491/Montecristo_Montecristo_No.2_2015_Dress_Box_of_25_cigars The second box was put up at a price where, if it didn't move up, I wouldn't be broken up about it. Consider putting up some "sure sellers" as your first couple/few boxes. Things that are likely to sell regardless of your account feedback. In my case, the first two boxes were Monte 2s and CoRos - popular cigars that sell a relatively humane prices. This will help get some "quick'n'easy" sales under your belt to generate some (hopefully good) feedback. Keep your comms quick and abundant! From the buyers perspective, your new account is unknown and they are taking a bit of a risk. Be sure to follow up right after the auction closes and turn replies around as quickly as you can. Be friendly, clear, and ask for what you need to close out the auction. This includes asking for feedback! 6 2

Just walking downstairs and seeing my Cohiba shelf full brings me too much happiness .... Realised how sad I've become in my progressively senior years 6 1

Nailed it with bringing "happiness". My smoking habits have turned on their head these past 4 years. I want to stock up on great 21 Punch Punch, JLS2, RASS, Monte 1, PLPC, BRC and BPC. I can use my own coin or use Cohiba I hold that give me far less daily smoking pleasure. Esplendido I rarely smoke. CPE same. VI is great but I don't reach for them. I smoke 8 JLS2/RASS/D4 for every CORO and I always hold 20 boxes of private CORO. Keep 10, move 10 on BR and stock up approx 30 boxes + of 21 year stock that I am smoking and enjoying on a regular basis. That's the plan 👌 12
Popular Post Chibearsv Posted October 27, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 27, 2021 While you all were hoarding toilet paper and hand sanitizer, I was hoarding Esplendidos. They should last me until regular production gets going again...I hope 🤣 1 6

Sadly I don't have access to the same amount of aged and new stock as you but would likely do the same thing. Out of the list you've mentioned above I absolutely love the Punch Punch, JLS2 (and 1), RASS and Monte 1 - these have just smoked brilliantly. I would only add La Fuerza, SLR Regios and Upmann Mag 46 - these are really on at the moment. That being said, I'm fairly newish to the cigar scene so I'm trying to buy a box of everything to find out what I love versus like versus hate. Cohiba does have a beautiful taste but I couldn't agree more that with a box of CoRo going for 2/3 boxes of JLS2 I know what I'll be stocking up on. I think I'll keep a one box minimum, rather than a ten/twenty box minimum 😅

The first one I had was when you sold the hand picked quarter boxes of ESL Nov 18. Was ecstatic to grab a box of ESL May 19's PSP earlier this year. I smoked a decent amount of lonsdales back in the day when I smoked NC. 3

Quality and consistency has been excellent.
joeypots Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 I’m keeping my Cohibas and stocking up on select RP. 1
jfire Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 I wish I kept the outer cardboard with code and warranty label to the original release BHK 56 I purchased from you when it was still FoH auctions.. Sadly when pricing gets this high I would gladly let them go to obtain many daily CCs to add to the humidors. They are smoking lights out.
Popular Post Kaptain Karl Posted October 28, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 28, 2021 It sucks that I like Cohiba so much or I could turn a nice profit here! Who thought I'd like honey, citrus and cream in a cigar 😅 5 2
wine65 Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 Coro and to a lesser extent Siglo VI are completely addictive to me. However, just about everything I’ve bought dated 2019-2021 has been great. Stocked up on my beloved BRC, now need to get on the Punch Punch train since I smoked my last sometime ago.
joeypots Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 I hate looking at Bond Roberts. That's why I only look about once a day. For instance, Cohiba robusto Supremos. When these were available I talked with my wife about buying 4 boxes with the intention of flipping them in 5 or 6 years. I don't remember why I didn't buy them. 58X5" might have had something to do with it. That said, I can't see selling many of my sticks. We are currently seeing the truth of the axiom, "Cigars will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no cigars." 3
El Hoze Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 For some reason I have a hard time parting ways with cigars (for money, I’ll give them away or smoke them without hesitation). Wine I don’t. You want to give me 3X what I paid for a bottle of cult wine? It’s yours and I have plenty of other grape juice. You want to buy my BHKs? Sorry I only live once and they’re not for sale. Not sure why that is. 1

I try a different vitola every few months. Still waiting for some real magic. If I don’t find Disneyland in a few years I may be looking for some trades though. Gimme a few more years ….it’s just hard for me to burn a $40 or $50 stick that is just ok.
