Popular Post El Presidente Posted October 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 19, 2021 No, this is not the story of Hutley and I being asked to leave our Nuevo Vedado casa From Bond Roberts........I love seeing great skinnies of the past coming through I have been fortunate to have smoked examples of the below quite a few times. How I miss the days when skinnies were common and lovers of Cuban cigars were spoilt for choice. traveller Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 It's quite sad that you have much larger selection of NC long and skinnies now then CC, well at least for those lovers of the cuban taste. Would love if every Marca had a Lancero. 4

Would love if every Marca had a Lancero. Why is that? I’m a lover of skinny cigars and I always thought these were very popular in Cubans but, I can’t seem to ever get any at a decent price. The ones pictured above look amazing but, out of my price range.

My impression is that many people prefer to buy thicker ring gauge cigars these days and so the Cubans are chasing the market, while in the past the style de jour was thinner cigars and even further in the past around the turn of the last century it was a perfecto style. But NCs have more availability because there are far more different producers of NC then CC and many of those people who started these are cigar lovers or love that form factor so they're more likely to include at least one of these types of in their line up. I would say the Tatuaje El Triunfador is a NC closer to the cuban profile. Also got the Nudie project coming up soon! 2

I’m hoping that the CC world follows as well! 6
