Partagas Serie P No. 2 - 2021 (JBWP5RW)

Got this one in a sampler earlier this year, haven't tried the vitola yet so decided to give this one a shot. Unknown box code but it's been resting for about 6 months and is presumably a 2020 or 2021 code.

First third: opens with a light creamy cedar and Partagas blend of spices, but as the third progresses the creaminess fades. There's a touch of cookie and coffee on the finish but they're unfortunately very light.

Middle third: cedar and cookie with a touch of spices. This has been really light bodied compared to all the other Partagas I've had and I'm a bit disappointed.

Last third: more of the same.

Overall: tasted like a watered down Partagas. Flavors seemed muted, maybe the cigar just needs more age. I recall reading that the P2 can get stronger with age, so hopefully that's the case here. 83/100

Damnnnnn sorry to hear this man.  Was it your first P2?  Never had one but pounced on a box of the psp that were up yesterday.

It was, but I've also got a box of PSP that's been resting for a few months now that I'll probably sit on for at least a year before trying to give the vitola more of a fair chance!
