Popular Post JohnS Posted October 17, 2021 Popular Post Posted October 17, 2021 Indeed, thanks @Chibearsv. For Beatles fans (like myself), this 3-part documentary on the making of the Get Back album (later re-titled 'Let It Be') and rehearsals for a planned live concert in January 1969 is akin to the excitement I felt in 1995 when the Anthology documentary series was released. Peter Jackson (yes, the same director who did 'Lord of the Rings'!) has done an amazing job on the footage here, I've never seen it look so bright, vibrant and clear. This documentary will screen on the Disney Channel on November 25th, 26th, and 27th (just after US Thanksgiving...timely!). Each night's screening will run for two hours so the whole documentary series will be six hours! For a fan, what does that entail in terms of time? Perhaps a Partagas Lusitanias, Ramon Allones Gigantes finished off with a Romeo y Julieta Churchill? 2 3 1

The trailer also sounds great so hopefully that comes through in this documentary as well. Like I said, I’m not the biggest fan but I get it when they sound great. 1

Ryan Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 Looking forward to this, though I know it'll make me sad. For a cigar related anecdote, the original filmmaker, Michael Lindsay-Hogg, has had a very very nice collection of old and rare cigars over the years. 3
Nino Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 Thanks @Chibearsv for the trailer - should be a great gig ! 1
