Weather is everything this time of year.  If it's nice Saturday I hope to practice one of the forum's forbidden subjects on my wife's farm before coming back home to watch Ryder cup with a cigar or 3.  Sunday, I want to head to Wisconsin early to visit a friend's home on Lake Geneva.  Hoping to catch an early morning large mouth or muskie snoozing under one of the piers.  Maybe take a morning boat ride around the lake.  Then back home Sunday afternoon for the end of Ryder cup and cigars with the neighbors.

Headed to Athens Greece for a wedding. At the airport with my wife and son. Trying to tire out the 2 year old before the 9 hour flight.

If you can pick up a couple of weird regional (extra) I'd be willing to trade for them. 😀

I'll check. But I think they only had two regionals for Greece one a 2009 and the other a 2011. I'll see if there's anything else that's interesting.

Good luck!

My 9 year old (the one from the rum punch thread) broke both of her arms on in a playground accident on Tues and cannot ride for two months (english style) so nothing there. The 5 year old has his final soccer match of the season tomorrow,  so we now have a whole hour planned for the weekend.

Time to get creative. The weather will be beautiful, so anything outdoors that doesn't require hands!

I don’t know your language skills or background, but phonetically “ef haristo” means thank you and “Kala emerma, Kala nikta” mean good morning, good night in Greece. Other than that, I got nothing...

Safe travels my friend!

Almost forgot: Thenk tzero = I don’t know...

Seek out the museum of Pythagoras, 5 mathematically perfect solids.

The Octrahedron

The Cube

The 3 sided triangle (tetrahedron)

The Iicosahedron

The Dodecahedrin

He missed the sphere...

Got roughly 1,000 feet of pipe to run at work this weekend. Y'all smoke em, I'll have to leave mine ageing.

I got 3 cubic feet of concrete to mix tomorrow then I’m done. A CORO might be in order?

Those cigars are going to be ready to smoke for sure when you get around to retiring...

I'm figuring 20-24 hours at work plus 4 hours driving there and back. Might get in a HUHC. Lol

Fall bite should be on Horizon. Friends from Chicago spent last weekend in Eagle River on Chain of Lakes and did well. Nothing like a muskie blowing up on top water! My place is in Hayward and plan on mid October trip.

That muskie hit is one of the great rushes.  Just reading "muskie blowing up on top water!" got my heart racing.  Our family sold our cottages in Manitowish long ago.  Just too far for a weekend but it sure is beautiful up there.

Let me add my few Greek sentences : Barakalo is the reply to Efharisto and most important : Yammas means Cheers when drinking... 🙂

Not much planned except going to vote at the general election here tomorrow.

After 16 years "Mommy" Angela is leaving the helm. Will be an interesting outcome as both mayor parties head-to-head in the race and coalition discussions coming weeks will decide the next govt ....

I am mastering home conservation. Unripe tomatoes in a marinade are a great snack for vodka

Green tomatoes and vodka? Now that's a new one on me. I've seen a few people eat dill pickles with moonshine  though. Lol. Anyway home preservation of any food is a wise idea nowadays.
