To say my first Punch DC was underwhelming would be an understatement.  Straight away the draw is extremely tight and my perfecdraw only slightly improves it, but it is manageable.  Starts light bodied with wood and hay flavors, but unfortunately this was the high point of the cigar.  Slowly transitioned to an astringent chemical taste that over-powered everything else and never went away.  Put it down well before reaching the band.  Only 2/5 for this one.  I'll be letting this box sit for awhile before trying another.

Ended up doing a little surgery after I put it down and found several stems/veins grouped near the head.  No idea how normal it is for that many to be so close together if anyone can chime in on that.

Ahhh that's a shame, yep mine wasn't ready either and think it needs at least another year before I revisit it.  Know what you mean by the chemical taste haha, I compared it to anise and ginger 🤷‍♂️.  Sucks about the stems, guess they can't all be winners!

I haven't the experience of these aged, but everyone who does tells me to leave these for at least five years. I'm leaving mine for at least 3 before I revisit.

Good to know!  Hopefully someone burns one next year and let's us know how they're progressing - from pics, seems like several of us have the same box code and year
