How food regulations have changed.

The Health department came out to our Cafe last week for the annual check. They are a friendly bunch  ......and yes we passed! 

 

Below is a photo of a london sandwich shop in 1972. 

Did anyone die?  Ok, in reality we probably don't know but for the sake of feigned outrage I am going to say NO!

When I was in Rome about 14 yrs ago, I bought a sandwich from a food truck. All their sandwiches were stacked in a window display like that.... and it was a hot day.
