So - no reappearance on the outside of the sticks. I pulled one of them last night, and after smoking it for a bit, noticed the little white dots on my ash!

See photo. I stopped smoking and discarded. 

Should I dump the rest of them? 😪

Nothing to worry about - mineral elements in the tobacco as far as I know, quite a common sight.
