Draw was pretty bad before the perfecdraw, but the weight was good, so I was hopeful from the start. Edit: "official" weight is 7.07g 4
Popular Post Bijan Posted September 11, 2021 Author Popular Post Posted September 11, 2021 Tonight it's going to be a Saint Luis Rey Churchill. Have 3 to choose from. One ok weight, one overweight and one super overweight. I'm going to start with the lightest one and smoke each of the other two at a other time. Edit: Light it up and it tastes of liver and then of gasoline/solvents. Decide to decapitate it to see if that improves things. Just a bit not too much. Cut it in half next and it's still rough. On the other hand the unlit half draws well now. We'll see how that goes in a bit. Edit 2: draw improves on the top half third of the way through. Flavour still strong but not off putting. Forgot cigar glue and wrapper is unraveling. Oh well. Half an hour halfway through that half of the cigar until I decide to stop. Sharp spicy tobacco for the most part. Edit 3: Light the other half. A bit milder, somewhat nutty. Edit 4: Ramps back up to the stronger spicy tobacco. Stop after another 10-15 minutes. 7

Bijan Posted November 11, 2021 Author Posted November 11, 2021 I hope to revisit some plugged cigars this week. Probably Bolivar gold medal, bolivar Lonsdale, Vegas robainas clasicos or VR famosos. Edit: my plan is to go with just minor perfecdraw or hemostat pluck and power through. Hopefully one is a softball Mike threw my way 🙂 2
Bijan Posted November 12, 2021 Author Posted November 12, 2021 The bolivar Lonsdale turned out to be a bolivar inmensas I believe. A bit of perfecdraw made it somewhat smokeable but tight. Flavours mainly leather and earth. Some slightly bitter nuttiness at times. 4
GoodStix Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 After reading El Pres' HSA Stock Update today, guess it's time we all learn how to smoke our tent pegs 😉 Thanks for the series @Bijan 1
