2424 This week; Sequel III

I will have an update from PCC mid week as to the Cuba supply situation. 

We are down to 1/3rd of our normal stock suppy  and need to be sure of regular resupply before we sell out of common lines. You would have seen that situation with several major  retailers around the world. We are all in the same boat. We have another shipment in this week  and another landing in 8 days.  That is good news but the pickings are significanly slimmer than normal. Some surprises on the upside however. 

So to balance it out.

• 2424 this week will roll Tuesday to Friday normal times. 
• Offerings will increase to between 9-12 cigars daily and 200-250 sales per day. 
• carts will remain closed. 

As the supply situation improves we will :

1. Bring back the carts. 
2. Relook at Monday 2424. 

Apologies folks. Covid 19 has hit Cuba hard this past 4 months + the domestic protests in July are coming home to roost now as understandably few people went to work for nearly 10 days. 

Tabacuba and HSA have been hit by the perfect storm of a deteriorating manfacturing situation and a global cigar boom. 

Personally I don't see things improving much for an extended period of time. Hell, I may introduce a 4 day week for all staff for them to enjoy until stock pipelines become stable. 

I will be transparent in any news that we receive from PCC/HSA/Havana/Other distributors and retailers.

question for everyone: why are offerings increasing to between 9-12 cigars daily now?

not complaining of course.  but if there are shortages then i don't understand how the offerings can be increased.
