Here are the sad remains of my 2001 boîte nature. Only 3 of the original box remain, the rest having been smoked or shared. Since I hate an empty cigar box, I've recruited the secure empty space as storage for a few notable singles.

The BN is a lovely format. Elegant and upscale without being ostentatious, grotesque, or gaudy. It reeks of old world class and understated, mature character. I really miss it. There is not much more you could do to a cigar box to make it more premium without delving into the purely cosmetic. And the tone of the wood and the lacquer is warm and inviting. I'll be sad when this boy gives up his last Havana.
