Maverick Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 My mother (Yes I know so dont even say it) has asked me to get her some cigars. She likes to smoke really really thin small cigars, almost like cigarettes. Can anyone shed any light on recommendations for me? I have never been a fan of the tiny cigars. Do any other members enjoy these small ones. Any don't pick on me for helping my mum. Ross...

JMH Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Monte Joyitas & RyJ Petit Julieta's are pretty good.
El Presidente Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 HDM Le Hoyou Du Maire. ERDM Demi Tasse Cohiba Club. I can't wait to see her at the next cigar dinner ;-)
Bill Hayes Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 I like Monte Cigarillos in a box of 20. Just don't confuse them for a cigarette and draw them back. :-P
The Privateer Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Monte Joyitas are brilliant. My girlfriend loves these too.
billyburg Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 I vote for the ERDM Demi Tasse also. It's a short smoke with great flavor but it doesn't become over powering, not even at the nub. I love em in the A.M. with coffee.
idesign Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Demy Tassy's :-D are good and so are the MC Joyitas.
Mel Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Oh crap, I knew the Prez. would jump all over this. Smoking grandmother cigars with old ladies. If it's little he likes it, right "Micheal"? Now Ken and us real men will consider weightier matters like the DC's and churhills. Oh hell does that mean that you only like the really big ones Ken? Jokes aside(not necessarily funy ones) I just ordered five boxes of the smaller vitolas.
smk819 Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 HDM Midi's Cohiba Clubs Monte Clubs Partagas Chicos and for a special treat Cohiba Panatellas
Spud2 Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Second and third the ERDM Demi Tasse and Monte Joyitas.:-)
PigFish Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 If you want Mom to be really in give here a box of Cohiba panetelas. But watch your wallet! -P

raney Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Partagas Clubs Hoyo Midi (nice, floral, mild) Partagas chicos (Mean, ugly, not mild at all - love these!) Joyitas, Demi Tasse, and Du Maire are much larger than a cigarette, but all are excellent.
Cal-Duck Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Monte and Cohiba Mini Cigarillos. But I say screw that. Have your Mom cowboy up and hit a churchill. Tell her it's just like a cigarette except for really big.
guilow Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 I love the Partagas Chicos. They are the prettiest cigar, but man do they taste good.
SeanGAR Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Another vote for Joyitas and Chicos. Personally, I'd rather smoke a larger cigar as these don't quite hit the spot ... but for her they'd probably do quite nicely.
patrick Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 The Cohiba and Partagas ones area really good. Nice quick smoke when you don't have the time.
