Popular Post dominattorney Posted July 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted July 21, 2021 So close to the fabled and highly sought after RAT DIC. And yet, so far. Figured I'd fire up one of these out back by the fire on a Tuesday evening just because. This box has been an absolute stalwart in my "Oh, what the hell" rotation of out of the ordinary sticks. I swear they taste like peanut butter cookies. With that in mind, paired it with a cold seltzer. Construction was perfect, as was the draw. First third was tobacco and salty peanuts with a sweetness on the retrohale. Second third and the saltiness was there but a bitter earth tone crept in. Construction remained top notch. Toward the middle we got a little more evened out with a sweetness predominating and peanut notes floating in and out on the breeze. Sadly, the cigar went out early I the final third. I blame my wife who asked for a complicated cocktail. On thr relight, it was not the same, and an acrid bitter tone predominated. I tossed it in favor of a fresh monte no 4, but that's a review for another day. Total smoking time 60 minutes, but would have been 85 to 100 had I smoked the whole thing. Great stick. Can't fault it for letting it go out. That's on me. 9
Chucko8 Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 Nice review and pictures, fire pit looks a great touch. Shame that it lost the way for you post the relight. The flavours that you obtained are certainly inline with those that I obtain from this stick.

El Presidente Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 smoking one now. The peanut butter nature is dominant. Outside of the Cuaba Distinguidos, I can't think of another cigar that delivers that profile so consistently. 3
