I do love these tobacco packages. Gorgeous. fairly common.

Interesting. I guess Cuba was exporting this stuff. Cigarette tobacco is clearly not cigar tobacco. I doubt HU would have had anything to do with it. Marketing only.

Wow, Cuban pipe tobacco! I actually wondered about that. Never really looked into it.

I wonder how it's produced.

How? Well, those floors are spotless at the end of the day.... :P

Figured ICT stuff.

Not sure they would use cigar tobacco for pipe tobacco. Totally different isn't it?

Legend has it that Che Guevara would ration his cigars by cutting them into slices and smoke them in his pipe. Of course, many legends can be found on the internet... 🙄

There is pipe tobacco that contains cigar tobacco as a condiment

But there is a fundamental difference in the tobacco itself. Strains, processing etc. In other words, at most, pipe tobacco would only contain marginal amounts of cigar tobacco based on your statement.

My question is what are the details of Cuban pipe tobacco production? Regions, strains, processing etc. Clearly there's some cross-marketing going on with the Cuban premium brands. Why?

I only now see this is a cuban pipe tobacco not a cigar box, my bad.
