Hoyo DC yesterday w a buddy. Only two years old and really nice.

made some room in the Coolidor by clearing out the last stick in a Mag 50 10er from 2017. Not a lot of room, but something to celebrate. Great stick. Might need more of these. Have some tubos aging.

enjoy the 4th brothers. Nice long weekend.

George, ever since you turned me onto those Mag 50’s I’m in love with them. Great smokes. Enjoy your 4th with the family and good luck with the possible impending weather.

They’re wonderful. This is from a January 2020 bundle and already smoking great. Alex’s customs benefit from time down so I’m trying to keep my hands off them as much as possible. I had a Reynaldo Sublime yesterday from the same trip and that was ready to go—it lived up to the Vitola’s name—but this one will be much better in a couple more years.

Started off with a party D4, but pitched it before the halfway point. They are generally one of my favorites,  but this one was the tightest draw of any cigar I've ever smoked. Followed it up with a VR Famosa. Much more pleasant experience.

Pre-Birthday smoke. This one did not disappoint. The mezcal wasn’t too bad either.

I've been in that Mezcal club for a while now. I love it. The only downside is it's now almost impossible to find a mezcal at the liquor store that doesn't disappoint compared to the club bottles. Great stuff.

Nice.
Mine is a 2019 I'm told.
Do you think its good to go with 2 years on it, or should I let it age more?

Only have one coming, and dont know if I'll ever be able to get more, so I want to give it its best.

PCC Aged Trinidad Coloniales 2016. Any my first ever Coloniales.

Love the Coloniales. Great even if its recent production to me.
My favorite Trinidad so far, and one of my all-time favorites in general

I'd go for it after the standard 60-day acclimation period unless you're going to put it down for several years.
