Anyone else planning to smoke something special for the 4th?

What Cigar are you planning?

For me its a 2012 Cohiba Esplendidos I was generously gifted months ago and have been saving for something special.

Will be my first ever Esplendidos, and a nicely aged one at that, so it will be a very good choice to celebrate with.

You are in for a treat.

You won’t regret this purchase. Outstanding cigar. I’m looking forward to your review of this wonderful stick. My prediction, once you taste the flavors and transitions of this cigar, you’ll be “hunting them down” on 24:24.

These are 2 hours of pure pleasure for me. From your posts, I believe you are also a “slow smoker”. So find yourself 2 hours of interrupted time to just revel in the pleasure of a beautifully hand-crafted Cuban cigar. In this busy world that we live in, finding a couple hours of relaxation is a blessing.

Nice.
Really enjoy them.
They are one of a very few really skinny smokes I buy.

I just smoked mine.  I woke up early so I decided to get my coffee and sit on a bench in town and smoke it there before town got too crowded.

Then this happened...

The East Hampton life guards ran by.  Hope the smoke didn't bother them too much.

Nice.
Saving my Esplendidos for this evening to be sure I allow enough time for it as it seems to be a roughly two hour smoke for most people

2019 CoRo for morning golf in the heat.  It was better than my game.  My buddies and I played as a 3-some 2 weeks ago and today at 2 different courses not very close to each other.  We were matched up with a single both times and it was the same old guy both times.  Very strange and my one friend shot 77 both times.  He took down the dudes phone number to make sure he's with us next time too.  Pretty funny.

Nice.
The 2019 and 2020 CoRos I've had have been great.
Last one was a 2021 and it was just really flat and flavorless.
Hoping the other one is better.

Will be ordering some more in a couple months, and hopefully they'll be a little older stock this time just in case.

May try using a different vendor this time too to hopefully get some a couple years older.
