GolfT3 Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Not to be confused with your preferences in finding a date (that’s a whole different poll), which of these is your current favorite and why? Blend, quality, price, size, experience, etc. whatever you value most.
mprach024 Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 RJC for sure. The best blend of the group and its the best vitola there is, hands down.
Chibearsv Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 I find the wides the most consistent in quality and very tasty but a Churchill that is built well is very hard to beat. I smoked another Churchill earlier today that was a struggle to get a draw, very frustrating and pitched early in favor of Siglo III that is knocking it out of the park. 3 1
Jimmy_jack Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 I have acquired a few of the vitolas as of late. Will smoke the Churchill Saturday. Can’t wait.
NSXCIGAR Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 The original RyJ Churchill is and has been the benchmark. The others just aren't in the league and vary widely. WC is very light and mild. It is very consistent however and has fans, but it is just too airy for me. The PC is very punchy and can be quite bitter. The Petit Royales is much better. The SC is extremely inconsistent in both flavor and construction in my experience. I'd take the Ex 4 over it every time. 2
Edicion Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 I would go with a Wide Churchill anytime, just very consistent as mentioned above, and reliable over any other RyJ, and smoking a newer one is not a problem usually. 1

GolfT3 Posted June 17, 2021 Author Posted June 17, 2021 @NSXCIGAR this makes sense and tells me I need to work through some more R&J lines. I generally prefer the WC because for me it has been the most consistent. A great original Churchill is better, but it feels like I’ve had more bad examples than I should have. 2
SpecialK Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 Smoking a short right now. Even though it’s a wind tunnel it’s showing the Turkish delight along with cherry and graham cracker 1
joeypots Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 The Churchill or more precisely, Julieta #2 at 47X7. It's a fantastic vitola. I submit there's a reason the size has been made for so long. 2
B44 Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 The wides just seem to be the best of both worlds or maybe I’ve just been lucky with the ones I’ve smoked. FWIW I’ve only smoked a few of the full size and while they are a treat, I just feel as though the wide is a more intense version of it = good in my book. 1
