Beautiful old box: La Carolina

I can't see anything on the box that would peg it at 1906. The brand was apparently registered by Bances y Suarez in 1906, but I don't recognize any stamps or seals on that box. I would have to say that it is more likely closer to 1906 than later, and perhaps this box was sold on the island or was an early run.

I was able to find another La Carolina box which appears to be a very nice holiday colleccion-style box:

Nice--looked like "ligoh" to me. Wasn't looking that close at the pencil.

3/16/1906 is interesting as the date of registration appears to be 4/10/1906.
