Still learning about SMEG .. based in Northern Italy.. But if you look at my profile I love Italian products.. I've owned 3 Italian dirt bikes.. 2 Husqvarnas made in Milan and currently own a Beta (see my profile) made outside of Florence.. Thinking I will smoke a Monte Petite Edmundo with this  .. 

This seems to be a well built piece of equipment.. Not plastic  but Metal... and more heavy duty than your standard coffee maker..  The Dirt bikes are pretty darn reliable also.. if anything they are overbuilt..
