Searched and not finding any opinions on these.

They are relatively cheap for a Cohiba, but are they worth buying?

I love them but poor price point unless you can find on really great sale. If you do buy make sure you have a draw tool like perfecdraw!
Thanks for the info.
Found some for a reasonably decent price, but they still aren't cheap.

I take it they tend to have draw problems?

That would suck as i have a modus II, but whenever I try it on smaller rg smokes it tends to cause the wrapper to crack a lot, and its difficult to go in perfectly straight to avoid punching out the side

I like them. In general, though, I find them to be in a crappy midpoint between the Minis (which are fun little tossables) and the Exquisitos (which I love).
So, I probably wouldn't spend for them, but I'd smoke them.
I understand.
I just got a box of minis gifted to me recently and really enjoy them for a quick fix. Pretty tasty too.

Also just recently discovered the Exquisitos and really enjoyed them. Plan to keep a few in hand along with the Siglo II's that I really love

I don’t really get a cigar experience with any panatela.  Haven’t had a Cohiba one that I can recall, but fewer leaves usually means less complexity.  I just go with the minis or shorts when I have only 15 minutes to smoke.   Usually, for me, this is live poker tournaments that have 15 minute breaks every 1.5 hours.  I like to go outside and hang with the cigarette smokers.  I prefer a tiny “cigar” than to keep extinguishing and relighting a robusto kept in a tube.  I’m talking so I’m not paying that close attention.

I guess the COPA would probably be ok, but at $10 USD+ each, I’ll stick with the Cohiba shorts.

I can’t imagine being able to successfully use the perfectdraw on a 26rg cigar.   I think I’d need a cnc machine.

Well, complexity is a different thing from development. And these small single-leaf sticks are relatively short on both. However, a good, solid tobacco shot is the goal, not any kind of experience one would ruminate on or savor.

I had the same dilemma at one time. Panatella seems to small. Went with the Exquisitos and never looked back. Love those little buggers.

Panatelas are way too short for the price vs Siglo I and Exquisitos. Otherwise they're pretty good.

Anything skinnier than a PLMC you can only really fix plugs right at the head. Otherwise you're kind of tunneling it too much even if you have real steady hands and a good eye.

Yeah, i like the Exquisitos quite a bit. Have never had a Siglo I, but smoke a lot of II's, so I'm sure I would like them.

May just pick up some Siglo I's or Exquisitos instead since the Panetelas aren't getting very favorable reviews

The Panatelas are about the size of those little pencils you get for golf score cards...Don't let their size fool you though...They have alot more flavor & burn way slower than you'd expect from a cigar that size.  The prices on them have gone up substantially in the last year and a half.  They used to be priced far enough below the Exquisitos to justify getting both cigars if you like Cohiba that much, but now the distance between the pricing of the 2 is so miniscule, it makes no sense not to get the Exquisitos, which I personally think are a far superior cigar.
