Popular Post Kaptain Karl Posted April 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 29, 2021 From unknown box code from CP 5 pack. These were the ones that looked ugly when I got them, then got way prettier with a bit of rest. I just closed out my best month ever so a celebratory Cohiba! Also excuse the disaster in my back yard...it’s been an ordeal 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ Opening: A little dry, but a bit in the bright citrus appears with some honeycomb and cream. Still a bit rough, but classic Cohiba flavors. The roughness smoothed out and now is showing few signs of youth! 2/3: Some caramel joins the party. Some cinnamon too, Strength and body are medium. Half way through the third butter begins to dominate the profile. 3/3: My nose is a bit plugged so my palette is naturally suffering. But I’m nonetheless I’m getting some shortbread and honey. Overall a very good Siglo III. Not as good as the ‘19 I had a few weeks back (I have 2 more of those but they’ll need dryboxing to get the draw workable) A solid 92 now, but I’m sure some more rest these will be even better! Also for any of you interested in history, Andrew Roberts books have been amazing! I finished his Churchill biography a month back and am now working through his Napoleon biography, just phenomenal work! 11 1
